If a pool is not engineered properly the slope can actually creep overtime and destroy whatever support the bottom of the pool or a wall used to have. Eventually, this can cause structural problems. The most important thing to remember is that the engineer uses the pool builders’ plans, they usually do not go out to the site. If the pool builders plan is not correct (where the slope is or how big) the engineering could be improper.
High Water Table
A water table is when the upper level of your underground surface is permanently saturated with water. This is sometimes due to a lot of rain or even being near a lake or Ocean. If you water table is high, it may make it challenging to build a pool in your yard and can even float a pool right out of excavation.
