This is one of many names for a pool entrance that allows the bather to enter the same way one would walk from the beach into the ocean on a sloping deck into the pool. Swim Up Bars
The swim-up bar is often located at the pools edge or at the bottom of an outdoor kitchen. This is exactly how it sounds. It is a bar that you can access while in the pool. This is popular in resorts, but it certainly can be added to your personal pool. Some swim up bars even have submerged barstools, made of concrete and water proofed with plaster and tile.
LED Lights
The days of snapping a colored filter over the incandescent or halogen lights in their pool are long gone. LED lights can actually be programmed to change color and/or “swim” a sequence, for example, red, white and blue for July 4th. An LED light has the ability to produce millions of colors, including white, simply by manipulating the primary colors of red, green and blue. Few things set the mood in a pool more than an underwater light show at night.
